 Dear Classmates, It is hard to believe that it has been over a year since our 25th Reunion!! Your Class Officers have been working hard to help you reconnect with your fellow Cornell classmates or to expand your Cornell network.  BIG RED HOCKEY IN NEW YORK CITY! SATURDAY NOVEMBER 28, 2009 8PM 10/27 Update: We're happy to announce that we sold out our block of hockey tickets for the big Cornell vs. BU hockey game in Madison Square Garden on November 28 at 8pm!!! A limited number of tickets are still available, but you must contact Ticketmaster directly and mention that you'd like tickets in or close to our Section, 343 (Rows B-I). CLASSES OF THE '80s CORNELL-BU HOCKEY PRE-GAME PARTY Two years ago, an estimated 12,000 Cornell alumni attended the Cornell-Boston University hockey game at Madison Square Garden over Thanksgiving Weekend. For this year’s re-match, an equally strong turnout of Cornell alumni is expected.
To celebrate, the Classes of 1982 through 1989 are getting together before the game for a family-friendly gathering. Here’s your chance to catch up with classmates and get ready to cheer on the Big Red. The party starts at 5pm on Saturday, November 28th, at Stout, a half-block from the Garden, so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the festivities and the company of friends!
There will be plenty of food, plus free soft drinks, juice, coffee and tea (plus a cash alcohol bar, featuring Ithaca Beer and Finger Lakes wines)
Register early, as space is limited!

Other Ways to Keep in Touch In addition to our website, we’ve created Cornell University Class of 1983 groups on Facebook and LinkedIn (and have combined membership of over 500 classmates!!). These are great ways to reconnect with classmates and network. Alumni Class Membership  With Class membership comes a bi-monthly Cornell Alumni Magazine with fantastic articles on Cornell and Cornellians and the always-popular news column for each class (be sure to send in your family news to our Class Correspondents). With your class membership, you also are entitled (new benefit!) to a number of retail discounts. Finally, dues payers and donors get a free classic book as part of the annual Cornell New Student Reading Project. This year we will all receive the John Steinbeck classic, Grapes of Wrath.
